Alfa-kassan was founded in 1998 and is one of Sweden’s 24 unemployment insurance funds. We are not tied to any trade union or other interest organizations. You can become a member regardless of your profession or form of employment.
We pay out basic benefits and income based benefits to our members. Unlike other unemployment insurance funds, we also pay out basic benefits to those who are not members of Alfa-kassan or any other unemployment insurance funds.
We have currently over 200 employees and we have offices in Sundbyberg, Borås, Hemse and Ljusdal.
